(More customer reviews)First of all, the product dimensions listed are the size of the BOX, not the size of the outlet cover. The outlet cover is still just 4.5" tall (although slightly wider than a standard outlet cover). Secondly, although it takes two hands to open it, kids will only need to see you open it one time before they figure it out. It does snap shut quickly, but I can just see my little one getting his fingers pinched in this if he doesn't get to the outlet first. He is also smart enough (under 2 years old) to hold it open once he has it open so he can try to play inside. Not the solution for us.
