For the first few months after my daughter was born I used the Snugrider infant car seat stroller frame. This worked great and I recommend it to everyone (don't waste your money or your trunk space with a clunky travel system) It was so nice to simply move my sleeping baby around in her car seat and not wake her. But once she hit 4 months old I realized that she was just too heavy to be lugging around in a car seat. Plus, she was really starting to dislike her infant seat and would rather be sitting up and looking around. So the search for the perfect stroller began.

I looked at what seemed like hundreds of strollers both in stores and online. Most were cheap, clunky, heavy or just plain ugly. I narrowed it down to a few contenders including:

-City Mini by Baby Jogger. Loved it but it was a little heavy and the seat doesn't have a really upright position (my daughter likes to sit very upright). It was also fairly wide and I was afraid it might be hard to get in and out of narrow store aisles. For me, this would be a great additional stroller, but it just wasn't the everyday use stroller I was looking for.
-Chicco Liteway.Overall great stroller for the price. Good canopy, good handling, pretty good handle height, decent basket. It was actually fairly similar to the Peg Perego Si in style and features only it's like a mini version of it. My baby is VERY tall for her age (29 inches at 5 mos) and the Chicco's seat back was MUCH lower than the Si and the harness slots don't go up too high. The seat was also much narrower. If your baby is on the shorter side then check this stroller out, but for tall parents/tall babies it's a no go.
-Maclarens. I feel like I have to include Maclarens because everyone raves about them but I have never been a fan. While they are lightweight and easy to maneuver I found them to be overrated and overpriced for what you get. They have awful sun canopies, small baskets, are way too short and they tip with bags on handles. Please people, there are other strollers besides Maclarens!
-Keekaroo Karoo- I actually purchased this one first because of the price but hated it and returned it (see review if interested)

I went back and forth on purchasing the Si (mainly because I wasn't sure if the price was justified) but decided to take the plunge and get it.I've had it for about 2 weeks now and can honestly say I love it!

Pros:
-Awesome canopy! Totally adjustable so that no matter where the sun is my daughter is shielded. It opens and closes easily on a spring-no annoying hinges to lock and unlock. I also like that you can unsnap the back for ventilation.
-Very easy to open and close, even one handed. It also stands when closed-a plus when juggling bags and baby
-Great color. I bought the Kiwi color and I love it. Note: the coordinating color (back of canopy and edging on seat) of the stroller is a very dark green and not black as it may appear in picture. I wasn't sure about the combo when I first opened the box but I really like it now and I think it'll hide dirt better than if it were black.
-Big basket. Holds a lot and easy to get bags in and out from sides. Note: I have the 2010 model and I think the basket has been improved from the 2009 model because I haven't had any problem with it dragging on the ground.
-Adjustable handles. No slouching or kicking the wheels. There are also bag hooks which I love.
-Recline is easy to do but does require 2 hands (I can kinda do it one handed, but not easily). It goes almost completely flat. My daughter will actually sleep in this stroller! Also makes a great place to change her diaper
-Seat is very cushiony but the real plus is that it has padded side wings. I didn't find this on many strollers and I really like this. Makes naps and wobbly heads much more safe and comfortable. My daughter seems so comfortable and loves to ride in it. She even has fallen asleep in it a few times and she is very picky about where she naps.
-the 2010 model has a front bar that I wasn't sure I would like or need but my daughter loves it. It's perfect for her to put her feet up on now and when she's bigger I think she'll like to hold onto it. It also is nice to clip toys and rings to to keep her entertained. It is soft and flexable and also removeable.
-Very sturdy and great maneuverability. I can push one handed and it rides very smooth. Also, it doesn't tip over when empty, even with my heavy diaper bag on it. I can't attest to it's long term durability but it seems well made from quality materials. I have not experienced any problems with wheel rattle even when pushing very fast.
-harness is easy to snap and unsnap and has great padded neck guards
-Plenty of room to grow. My daughter is tall for her age and I don't worry about her outgrowing this. The seat back is very high and there are lots of harness slots left to grow into.
-the actual seat is higher than lots of strollers. This means more space for your feet when walking but also my daughter is higher up from ground. It's great for pulling her up next to us at a restaurant and I also don't feel as paranoid about her getting hit with shopping bags

Cons:
-the cupholder is a joke. It's tiny and flimsy and fell off the first time I put the stroller in my trunk. I threw it out and purchased the Sunshine Kids Accessory buggy and it works perfect. I like being able to have somewhere to toss my keys and cell phone as well as keep my drink and her bottle handy. And it folds easily with it still attached
-It doesn't fold as tiny nor is it as lightweight as some umbrella strollers but it is also 100 times better than most umbrella strollers. This wasn't really a con for me but worth noting for those looking for a truly light stroller. It is still much lighter that most of the strollers I looked at (I think it's about 16 lbs)

Bottom line: I love this stroller but most importantly my daughter loves it.So stop researching and buy this stroller! It is worth every penny
