(More customer reviews)I see some negative comments here about this gate, but I disagree.We installed this gate 2 years ago in a high-traffic area between kitchen and front hall.Sure, it wasn't as easy to install as a pressure mounted gate, but you won't find another telescoping gate for a wide opening at this low a price.We have found it to be sturdy and easy for adults to open.The thing I like most about this gate as compared to other wide-opening gates is the fact that it telescopes (collapses) down to one panel's width and then can be swung flat against the wall on its pivots to get it out of the way.This is really handy for those times when baby is NOT in the room.We love this gate.
