(More customer reviews)We bought this item for our daughter when she was 2 1/2 months old.We noticed that when you held her upright, she would kick her legs alot and seemed like she wanted to jump.We saw this item in a baby magazine, and at the time, $70.00 seemed like a lot.Let me tell you, it was more than worth the money.First, the fact that it has 3 music settings is great.1-upbeat music, 2-slow, sleepy music, 3-music when the kick function is activated.It also has 2 levels of vibration mode, if your child begins to fall asleep.It also has a lock feature, if you want the child to remain stationary for whatever reason.I agree with some other reviewers, that the coaster is a little "short" for smaller babies.My daughter was about 20 inches, and had a hard time reaching the kicking surface.Not a problem, we just put a thick book against it, and in no time, she was kicking away. And let me say, she LOVES it.She will sometimes stay in it for 45 minutes at a time (which is a lot for a baby), and has fallen asleep more times than I can count.Additionally, it has seemed to strengthen and train her leg muscles, that now at 6 months old, she is just about standing completely on her own, and it making progress towards trying to walk.Not to mention, that it is very durable.Lets just say it has survived my 4 year old "Captain Destructo".It also comes with a foot shaped rattle/teether toy that is one of her favorites.The cover comes off very easily to wash, which we have done twice now.Overall, it is one of the most recommended items on my list, and I think is a great exerciser for your baby.
